A German's Quest for the 60th Summit in the World

Last October 11, 2014, I had the opportunity to move with Markus Hogenschurz a German architect whose energy of scaling each most noteworthy mountain in each nation around the globe

On this climb, it was his 60th Summit, and it was a respect to move with a prepared climber like him to the top of the Philippines.

We began our day at 5 AM with a transport ride for a hour and after that exchanged to a sanctioned cruiser privately known as "Habal-habal" up to the trail head in Baruring. Amid this ride, he was flabbergasted on the method of transportation that we took and says that individuals living in the are outstandingly exceptional.

We land at the trailhead around 8 AM early in the day and immediately began the trek.

My aide Roy and I watched that our visitor is truly fit as a fiddle for he doesn't take a solitary quit amid the primary hour of the climb and just grinned at us.

On this excursion, I can state that this person was a quick trekker since we touch base at the last town in Tumpis for under 45 minutes and after that go to the wilderness trail.

We had our lunch in Camp 1 around 11 AM and afterward keep on trekking following couple of minutes.

On that same day, we touch base at the stones part around 1:30 pm in which we saw the stone face of Mt. Apo gradually secured with hazes.

We chose to camp in the 87 degree campground when we achieve that part around 4 PM since the climate was bad and a possibility of nightfall was thin around then.

At a young hour early in the day, the mountain demonstrated to us his excellence by giving us great climate, and we climb to its most elevated piece with blue skies and lofty view.

On the middle pinnacle, Markus did some fortune chasing since there was a geocache on that zone and he discovered it and marked his name on the little logbook.

In the wake of going to a few summits in the pinnacle, we backpedal to our campground, ate and set out down toward home.

On our way back, we trekked the West side of the rocks to see an alternate view, and it was pleasant since it was all reasonable and we can see the delightful perspective of Davao City, Davao Gulf and a few islands in it.

Moving with a veteran outdoorsman like Markus is a respect and we could land back in Davao City evening of October 12, 2014, securely.
